Celebrating World Wellness Weekend
Looking to rejuvenate your mind and body? An international celebration offering a range of free health and wellness activities to the public, World Wellness Weekend encourages millions of people across the globe to find balance and make time to reconnect with their mind and body.
How Did the Initiative Start?
Founded by Jean-Guy De Gabriac in 2017, World Wellness Weekend was created with the sole purpose of uniting communities across the globe to commit to healthier and happier lifestyles. Hosted on the 22nd and 23rd of September, the event encourages people to optimise work-life balance and enjoy life’s potential.
As Experts in Wellbeing for more than 30 years, there couldn’t be an event more aligned with our ethos. Joining together with over 1,000 wellness properties and spa associations across continents, Aromatherapy Associates is championing the art of mindful living through various initiatives. With 100 employees across our global offices, we will be embarking on a ‘Walk for Wellness’ 1 Million Step Challenge — each of us walking 10,000 steps to keep active over the weekend.
Our spa partners across the country will also be participating in the event, providing complimentary treatments to guests including: reflexology, manicures and pedicures, Swedish massage, Thai massage, deep tissue massage and back and shoulder massage. See our list of spa locations to discover where you can receive a treatment and renew your mind, body and skin.
How will you be celebrating World Wellness Weekend? Whether you’re participating in a yoga class, treating yourself to a massage or even taking a stroll in nature, practice mindfulness and make time for yourself. Be sure to use the hashtag #WWWell2018 to share your wellness activities across social media over the weekend.
