It is important that you get the right ambience for your experience, so turn off any electrical devices, dim the lights and turn on some relaxing music.
Run your bath and familiarise yourself with the products featured in the treatment.
Firstly, take your De-Stress Mind Bath & Shower Oil. Apply a third of the bottle to the palm of your hand and apply the oil to the chest, abdomen, lower back and shoulders, all the way up the back of the neck. Bring your hands to your face and take a couple of deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Now step into your bath and soak from around 20 minutes.
Here are some stretches to help you unwind in the bath and release tension:
First of all, you're going to rotate your head so your nose is over your shoulder until you feel a gentle stretch. Hold it for three seconds. Rotate your head to the other side and repeat. Repeat this 3 times
Next, tilt your head to one side & hold for three seconds. Bring your head back to centre and repeat. Again repeat this 3 times
Now, rotate your shoulders backwards then forwards, exaggerating your movement. Repeat 3 times
To further release tension, we're going to perform a neck and shoulder massage:
Start with your index and middle finger behind the ear and circle underneath the head, working your way into the middle. Repeat this movement on the other side, circling your way in.
Still using your index and your middle finger starting at the base of the neck press, hold and release working your way up the back of the neck
In the same position, this time use the index and middle finger to slide up the back of the neck, from the base to the top.
Your next move is your neck stroke. Using both hands, stroke from the lower part of the neck all the way up to the top, one hand after the other.
Then using your fingers and your palms, pick up your shoulder muscle, all the way to the upper arm. Repeat to the other side.
Finally, using your middle and index finger, you are going to press hold and release in the indentation of the shoulder, working from the outside in towards the neck. Repeat on the other side.
Repeat all those movements three times for maximum benefit.
Step out of the bath and pat your skin dry. Apply your De-Stress Muscle Gel all over the body targeting those areas of tension.
Then apply your De-Stress Body Oil with long meaningful strokes.
Find a comfortable place to sit and apply the De-Stress Mind Rollerball to your wrists and behind your ears, taking some time to do a breathing exercise. Breathe in through your nose for 7 seconds and then out through your mouth for 11 seconds. Repeat this for as long as you need to, to find your inner calm.
